- Basically they are just north of the Coliseum on the east side of the 880
- You roll up on a scale, they weigh your truck, you go dump stuff, they
then weigh you on the way out and then you pay
- Can't exactly remember rates but about the same as city dump, plus they
seem to actually go through a lot more stuff than the city dump
Best,
David

Just came across this and thought I'd share:
"New America's Open Technology Institute (OTI) program seeks a Field
Analyst for our international community wireless projects.
You do not have to be an expert in wireless technology, because you will
work in close coordination with OTI's technologists, field engineers, and
contractors. Therefore, we welcome applications from people with experience
in comparable fields, such as international development, urban planning,
digital security, international public health, or humanitarian assistance."
Role includes: "Coordinate the construction of wireless mesh networks and
other technology projects."
We moved a bunch more stuff to the Omni today. The only things left are a
few scattered items, and trash piles which we will take care of tomorrow
morning. There will probably still be some cleaning and vacuuming tomorrow.
Maybe we'll even return our keys. :)
Items still left which we'll take care of:
* the piano downstairs
* projector, screen & black stacking chairs
* ???
Items we don't want:
* couches, other furniture
* trash pile
* e-waste pile
Please DO NOT go to the Omni before Tuesday! That's when our lease begins.
We have disturbed the owners enough, they have been more than patient with
us, and they shouldn't have to deal with random visits from strangers while
they're busy packing up their lives.
Repeat: DO NOT GO TO THE OMNI BEFORE TUESDAY
if anybody knows where the Sudo projector is, we need it at the old space immediately! There are two presentations happening NOW and it needs to come back IMMEDIATELY to the old space

PS Yar would like to know too where it is (Jordan)
Thanks!!
Hey folks, we're moving our last things into the Omni tomorrow.
The owners will be expecting us at 1pm.
I don't think we need to rent a big truck for this - I think the
remaining things can fit in a handful of cars and pickup trucks. Who's
available? Things will go smoother if we start preparing early, so how
about this:
11am - start moving things downstairs and queueing them up for vehicles
12am - pull up vehicles and start loading them
1am - vehicles + volunteers start arriving at the omni to unload
Then we will have the rest of the day for cleaning and detailing.
See you tomorrow! It would be wonderful if OUR WHOLE COMMUNITY could
show up for this final moving sprint!!!
I will be there. But I think since there are a lot of heavy and bulky
items left Getting everything in one go might not be possible but with
enough people it should be no problem to shuttle stuff with the more
heavy duty Vehicles over there with one or two persons guarding the stuff.
CU tomorrow
I saw last night there where it normally was.
