Since it will be outside 24/7, maybe we should install a weatherized
or skinnable keyboard? as if we dont, that may invite yet more keypad

Did anyone start a quiet work area at SudoRoom? This is ideally a table where people can focus, not be interrupted, or people near this area would be mindful & not talk too loudly.
I think I witnessed something like this one afternoon.
Noisebridge has a similar set up.. I like it a lot,
I'd like to go to sudoroom and have a small mindful area free of people's phone conversations, or be interrupted by someone pitching their political movement or solar energy start up.
(I've been …
[View More]interrupted constantly in the past this way and this is a constructive idea to solve that problem)
To the folks who had a quiet mindfulness area: could we do this again? It's a good idea and in alignment with sudoroom values;: "a hackerspace is for hacking "

Do you want to be lavished with stress, anguish and minimal praise for the
the thankless task of maintaining the sudo door "sudoor"? Well now is your
chance.
Imagine a your mirth at suddenly being responsible for a critical but
poorly working access mechanism!
Why isn't the door electric door opening working reliably? I don't know,
but I can tell you how its supposed to work, which parts are the most
reliable, and the full history. Then you can fix it.
Requirements: None except patience, and …
[View More]I will teach you whatever relevant
skills are necessary to make as poorly a working door as already exists.

I'm working on a small SudoRoom game.
Are there any sound libraries on the server / are there any sounds that
anyone at SudoRoom has made that could be used in a small educational game?
If it's on the SudoRoom server, can I easily access this from my home while
I'm not at the space? [I'm currently disabled and unable to get there
physically]

TL;DR: The folks making the documentary on the commons have agreed to
produce it under a CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license (yay!). They plan to shoot
b-roll at the space on Tuesday and Friday, and do filming and
interviews on Wednesday and Thursday. Please reach out to Bunker
(number and email below) if you have questions or concerns, are
interested in being interviewed, or have ideas for the film!

Thanks so much Jenny.
It would be great to e-mail everyone. Feel free to share my e-mail and
number (215-971-0837) in the communication so anyone that wants to be
interviewed, has ideas, or specifically doesn't want to be filmed can
contact me. I'll create an account later today as well.
I'm thinking Wednesday and Thursday will be the main days we come by and
interview and film with tomorrow and Friday being possible b-roll days
(days I just show up with a camera and film some of the behind the scenes
activities).
The things we want to focus on are:
1) What is the impact of declining freedom of communication?
2) How is Sudo working to improve things? (especially the mesh network)
Thanks again, see you tomorrow or Wednesday.
