Call me cuckoo but I want to make ramen noodles for Public School's monday
night dinner. It's the start of their Summer School.
I am wondering if anyone has a kitchen aide or other mixer with a dough
hook? Also I need a pasta maker since hand pulled noodles might be a bit
beyond my skill given the time frame.

Ara here from Rock Paper Scissors Collective! I hope you're enjoying the
sandwich board; we're loving the lil Netbook over here!
On behalf of the upcoming Mission Creek Oakland Music and Arts Festival (
www.mcofest.org), organizer Kiyomi Tanouye and I were thinking to include
fellow local community organizations to publicize during the MCO campaign
of opportunities to learn methods of making art and music. The festival is
throughout the month of September, publicized and sponsored by the East Bay
Express. If any of the talented and knowledgeable at Sudo Room were
interested in hosting or coming over to RPSC to teach circuit bending
tricks, we'd be happy to plug Sudo Room into the campaign!
The projected date of the workshop is Sunday, September 8th.

Hey Sudoers!
We've had a surge of young people coming by the space who're learning to
program (including interest in collaboration from the Oakland Public
Library TeenZones, below), and it would be awesome to start a youth
programming meetup. Anyone interested in working with teens and teaching
programming? Most likely they would self-organize and help each other
learn, so it would really be more a matter of holding the space, setting up
some communication channels and showing up on a regular basis :)
Alt ideas for collaboration welcome and encouraged!
