Hi everyone!
For those that don’t know me, I am the outgoing Omni Stewardship and
Property Manager employed through EBPREC. I’m happy to see all the
enthusiasm in connecting with our organizations upcoming events.
I also wanted to chime in to clarify that the investor-owner mixer on
Wednesday is *invitation-only* because it is for that particular
stakeholder group in the co-op.
The event Ajay mentioned, taking place tomorrow evening in the Discoroom is
part of the regularly scheduled Community Owners gatherings for that
specific subset of the coop. An educational portion of that meeting will be
recorded and made available to the general public between 6:30 to 730 pm
and 7:30 p.m. via a *virtual-only* option. However, you still need to RSVP (
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/eb-prec-mini-workshop-resident-ownership-103-t…)
as soon as possible so that the event organizers can send you the link and
the hosting circle can better prepare the content and activities based on
the expected number of participants.
If you are generally interested in learning more about EB PREC’s model, or
building/strengthening a relationship with EB PREC by joining the co-op, I
would strongly encourage you to take the first step by attending EBPREC’s
Orientation. This is a one hour meeting that is scheduled on a regular
basis either monthly or bimonthly. The next one is virtual *TOMORROW* *Tuesday,
May 19th *at noon. This is where you receive an overview of the
organization and have time to engage in a Q&A with the EB PREC staff member
facilitating that month. If you are interested RSVP here:

due to the short notice at least a connection was formed, allowing for
follow-up.
Lastly, as I prepare to transition from my role, I am leaving the position
in very capable hands. My successor Philemon Abraham, whom I cc'd on this
thread will be Sudoroom's direct point of contact for both EBPREC and
CALLI. As we move out of a stabilization period in the building, I am
hopeful he will be able to be more responsive to the building community in
the coming weeks and create additional intentional opportunities for
connection with you all.

Hi Sudoers:
Can Sudoers please attend this event Wednesday night 1) to establish and
fortify relationships with EB PREC/CALLI and 2) to emphasize the strong
alignment between EB PREC’s racial equity and economic equity missions and
Sudoroom's technology and digital literacy, technology and digital equity,
technology and digital inclusion, and technology and digital sovereignty
missions? (Most evident through our weekly Fixit Clinic and WNB initiatives
and expanding outward from there?)
(For example: EB PREC manages lots of properties, both commercial and
residential. We can offer to help keep EB PREC’s current and future
technology-based building infrastructure in good working order, and offer
that any EB PREC member and/or tenant is welcome at Sudoroom anytime.)
It is critical to Sudoroom’s long term interests to make sure that we are
well aligned with our buildings owners and management. We need to build
trust and reputation. That starts with forging relationships, which is best
done IMO by being in community with others at events like these.
