Hi, Richie.
Installing LineageOS is fairly straightforward, but in my experience
there are two huge, potentially-showstopping roadblocks that you might
run into:
1. Your exact device must be listed as a currently-supported model on
this page: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/
2. Your device has to be _bootloader_ unlocked, not just carrier
unlocked. In the "Developer options" menu, the "OEM unlocking" option
must be selectable (not greyed out).
If both of those are true, it should be pretty straightforward to follow
the install instructions provided on the wiki. They're customized
per-device, but it's mostly the same flow.
What device are you trying to install Lineage on? If it's one I've had
personal experience with, I can give some more specific tips.
