I'm reaching out to see if you might be open to co-hosting theExodus Tourin Oakland.
We are bringing a series of hands-on workshops focused on leaving surveillance platforms
and building community-controlled networks.

My name is Melanie and I work with Miliaku Nwabueze on a project called c0de switch -- a
project that looks at the possibility of a mass exodus from the hegemonic web. We're
bringing the Exodus Tour to the United States and we're looking for community spaces
to co-host a series of free, hands-on workshops.
Miliaku has been inspired by your makerspace while living in Oakland. She wants to come
back and do a workshop on digital marronage for free to the Oakland public. On behalf of
her, I am writing in hopes to collaborate on doing this workshop with you on September
25th to 27th. It is a 3-Day workshop.
We'd love to explore whether these workshops could be a good fit — either as a hosted
event or a co-presented one. Happy to share more details on the curriculum or jump on a
call to talk more.
