Hi sudoers.
The sudo room elevator is now hooked into the sudo room access control system.
Things you should know:
Only the ability to use the elevator from downstairs is under access control.
When you use
door.sudoroom.org to open the outer
street-level door it will also allow you to use the elevator for the next 40 seconds.
When you go to
door.sudoroom.org you will notice that there is a new button for the
elevator. You only need to use this if you are not also unlocking the street-level door.
This will allow you to use the elevator for the next 20 seconds.
The elevator button on
door.sudoroom.org does not call
the elevator, it only disengages the lockout so that pressing the button will call the
elevator.
There is a manual override switch mounted just outside of the door leading into the
sudo room space. You can and SHOULD use this to disable elevator access control when you
are in the space, but BE SURE TO ENABLE ACCESS CONTROL IF YOU ARE THE LAST TO LEAVE.

will function normally.
