Do we prefer Patreon, or the Sudo Humans system for recurring donations?
I would expect that Sudo Humans (powered by Stripe gateway?) might have
less overhead costs?

Yes. We haven't set up sudo mesh / peoplesopen.net on sudo humans mostly
because we've been thinking of it as a way to pay membership fees but we
definitely could offer that as an option. Stripe is about 3% fees and
Patreon is about 10%.

Oh derp. In my head I get SudoRoom and SudoMesh / PeoplesOpen mixed up as
the same thing.
It makes sense that we'd want to take donations for a project separate of a
SudoRoom membership.
