Many thanks to Sudoroom and FixIt Clinic for donating 20 ExChromebooks to Urban Angels SF. We’re very grateful for your support. The ExChromebooks will be provided to underserved students participating in Urban Angels SF’s tutoring and educational programs. Many of these students have limited access to reliable technology at home, so having their own ExChromebook gives them an important tool for tutoring, schoolwork, online learning, research, and building digital skills. We especially appreciate that these computers, originally from Oakland Unified School District, are being given a second life rather than becoming e-waste. It’s a wonderful example of reuse directly benefiting students and the community. We hope to continue working with you to place additional refurbished ExChromebooks into the hands of underprivileged students who need them for tutoring to catch up to their grade level. We’ll be happy to share updates on how the computers are being used and the impact they are making.
