Hey Sudoers,
Thanks to Cere for the shout-out and Ethan for the eagle eye on the
graphics! We’re co-creating the *Co-Creating a Thriving Future for the Bay
Area: An Unconference* this Saturday, May 3rd at Laney College in Oakland,
and would love to see Sudo Room energy in the mix.
This is not your typical conference-no panels, no keynotes, no top-down
agenda. Instead, we’ll use Open Space Technology: everyone who shows up
helps create the agenda and can propose sessions or projects. If you’ve
ever wanted to hack the format of civic, ecological, or community
gatherings, this is your playground.
*What’s on the table?*
-
Creative use of tech for resilience and regeneration
-
Citizen science, open hardware, and digital democracy
-
Permaculture, food systems, and solidarity economy
-
Bioregional governance, solarpunk, and more
Bring your ideas, prototypes, or just your curiosity. Whether you want to
run a session on decentralized tech, share a permaculture hack, or conspire
on the next community project, you’ll find fellow travelers here.

Would love to see Sudo Room represented-whether as session hosts, hackers,
or just curious minds. Let’s bring our “Hack the Planet” spirit to the
bioregional movement and see what emerges!
In solidarity and synergy,
ajay
P.S. If you have a project, tool, or idea you want to share, reply here or
just bring it to the unconference. And if you’re out of town, let us know
if you want to connect for future gatherings!
