Greetings omninoms,
The newly-regrouped Building Working Group will be hosting an all-day,
building-wide work party this Saturday, Sep 2nd.
Planned projects include:
* Painting the Entrance Hall
* Reorganizing and rodent-proofing the storage closets
* Sealing off the basement vent above water heater (rodent-proofing)
* Replacing the sudo/ccl bathroom faucet, other various plumbing repairs
around the building (folx with plumbing skillz needed)
* Mounting the front door motor for automated door opener
* Patching the basement south wall
...but feel free to take on any task or repair that you've been wanting to
tackle, or assist with general cleaning :)
Come by any time throughout the day and lend a hand! Free lunch for all
volunteers ^_^
Also - if you're available to help prep the walls of the Entrance Hall this
week (patching holes and spackling), please contact me or Robb directly.

The weather forecast says it will be very hot on Saturday (high of 89)
so I would lean towards getting things done in early to mid-morning if

basement stays much cooler. Especially when it no longer has a gaping

Hey crew,
Thanks to principally Robb, Phil, and Abe, the Entrance Hall is pretty
decently prepped for painting tomorrow (some spots still need patching).
Abe, Robb and myself will be here at 9:30am to facilitate the jumpoff - all
welcome! The sudo fridge is fully stocked with cold fizzy waters, Liz of
LibLens will be ordering us lunch, and a good deal of the work needed to be
done is in the basement, which is delightfully cool in comparison to
Oakland writ large atm.
I've attached the most recent iteration of the work party whiteboard, which
folx have added to include some other small improvements and repairs
throughout the building. If anyone has plumbing skillz or knows someone who
does, we haz need for dat!
