Thanks for the response, Ken. FYI, last night I did see some fruit on the
table closest to the biosafety cabinet, including some exotic fruit that
was cut open. I should really have trashed it before I left, but I don't
think that is the shelf Jake is referring to anyway.
That being said, YES, we totally NEED a serious and concerted effort
throughout the Omni to deal with this rodent infestation!
CCL CANNOT STAY AT THE OMNI UNLESS WE GET THIS UNDER CONTROL! And without
the rent income from CCL, Omni is in significant danger of folding as
well...
Ken - I would also like to work with you to develop some ground rules for
the fermentation station, and then post them liberally all over the place.
I'll follow up with you on this off-line.

Hey Jake,
I appreciate the information about your observations.
I have a cleanup and prep scheduled for this evening reworking the
fermentation station .
There should not be any rotting fruit covering the wooden table unless
someone has covered it with such since yesterday or you are misperceiving.
There is ripe but not rotting fruit in rat protected covered metal
containers on the wooden shelf.
Next to the wooden shelf there are rat traps that haven't been set yet.
When you notice a problem in the lab or the many places in the Omni
building where the vermin are having fights, orgies, or are otherwise
undisrupted in their unacceptable activities, you and everyone could take
corrective action.
Perhaps a committee of vermin control is in order.
Thanks Ken

this is a seperate problem from the fact that at least one of the
containers is smelling really bad, and at least one is breeding fruit flies.
