we need a shop that can precisely and cleanly cut a panel of steel for
something electrical in the building, using a waterjet or plasma or laser CNC
setup.
emphasis on clean and precise edges, it needs to look good. We can live with
anywhere from 16gauge to 22gauge (1/16" to 1/32") but we'd like to get it
done
ASAP.
can anyone recommend a shop? let me know

I don't know of any place closer, but I have worked with this shop multiple
times over the years and they have done a decent job.

Try Seaport Stainless - Bobby always said they'd sell the laser cut
parts cheaper than he could get the sheet itself and pretty much sole
sourced to them. I assume they also have mild/carbon steel if needed.
