Not an official member obv but I'd like to support this by offering a
single 2-hour private session called "Intro to using and understanding
Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies" which can be either for a curious
individual or a merchant looking interested in accepting it. It would
be me plus someone else with experience in whatever aspect the person
who chose the perk was looking to learn. $150 seems worthy. This can
be a Skype call/remote conversation if that works best for the person.
However controversial it may be, I would be interested in offering a
second session on the same topic however as a group and limited to
people who identify as women (trans, cis, straight, queer, etc). 4
people max, maybe $30 each? If I have a person assisting me for this,
they will also identify as such. This one will have to be in-person, I
think.
Thoughts?
Cheers!

Hi all!
We are in the last stages of preparations to launch Omni's
crowdfunding campaign next weekend, and we need your help!
Please use this thread to brainstorm on perks we could offer,
keeping in mind that *experiences* are cheaper to produce and more
interesting to donors than shwag.
* Would any sudoers be interested in co-hosting maker workshops? *
How about making robot drawings (and recording the robot drawing
it) based on SVG images people send in? * Can anyone bottom-line
making 3D printed magnets? Or 3D printed something or others? *
Marc and I are going to be putting together hackpacks
<http://hackpack.me> that people can buy for themselves or for us
to donate to a teenager. * Maybe we could offer a 'teleconference
with a hacker'? * Anything you can think of!
Fact of the day: 85% of successful campaigns raise 1/3 of their
goal in the first 72 hours. Please prep friends in your networks
now for a donation next week!
