Is this weekend in livermore. I'm considering going. Tickets are $30/day, but it may be worth it to see robots get smashed and go through varied challenges. oscilloscope, power supply, signal generator "donation"

Zach wants to donate these nice pieces of test equipment to sudoroom: http://imgur.com/wZuPmi2 http://imgur.com/LTSFfOe http://imgur.com/oQQsfgc and Jacob M. has volunteered to go pick them up (although he doesn't have a car and they're in SF) Does anyone with a car want to go to SF to pick them up? but Zach wants to know that he can get them back whenever he wants. Zach, Sudoroom can't guarantee the safety of your equipment that is left there. But I can say that my LeCroy 9150 and Sorensen DCR-2025B and lots of other good stuff are there and i'm not worried about them, and you shouldn't worry either. If you ever need to come get these things back you can do so. We appreciate you letting us use them in the meantime. -jake

Thanks for sending out this email and CC-ing me jake. To be clear, these are meant as a donation (no quotation marks) to sudo room, for as long as sudo room exists. What I mentioned to Jake was that if sudo room closes for some reason (we are all struggling with rent in the bay here) I would want them back. voip phone calls

weird.. the voip phone in sudoroom rang, and i answered it (it looked like it was coming from the payphone) but then someone was pressing touch tones, and then a click.. and now there's music on the line. I have no idea how that is possible. and the other day, i am told that the payphone started ringing out of the blue.. no explanation for that. is someone hacking our voip and playing around?
