I tried talking with my representative about this two weeks ago, to not
much success. Please include me in this effort, and 3d printing is very
important to the retro computing community, as well as the right to
repair efforts.

I'm trying to find an entity in the Bay Area that has a micron-level 3D scanner, to scan an object about the size of a metal coffee tumbler. I was wondering if your facility has such a device for use, or you might know a local facility that does.
