It was made by Steven!
here's the GitHub repository for the software on it:
https://github.com/peragwin/vuzicgo
the wifi password to it is "pretty lights"
respond to this thread to ask more about it!
I like to bring it downstairs when SPAZ throws parties in the basement but i
haven't done it in a while.

Well, you know, black people tend to be invisible to a white racialized consciousness. Somehow, in the middle of the afternoon, somewhere in the Entrance Hall (not at the door), he came to Ed’s attention, and Ed accosted him. When Derick resists this disrespect, they face off. And that is where I stepped in. It was a clear case of profiling, but even more, of the tunnel vision of white racialized identity. As racial profiling, it was an attack on Ed’s part. This becomes central to the way I now look critically at the Omni, and especially at the sequence of such events that have occurred with respect to Almaz.
Wait wait wait wait ... what happened between Steve, Derick and Ed?
The words attack, accost, face off - I can't tell if you are
describing a physical confrontation or something else. Are you
choosing vague words on purpose? Either way this deserves way more
detail and I would like to hear perspectives from anybody who was
there. Folks, can we take this seriously? It's buried in a bunch of
other nonsense but it's important.
I think this deserves its own thread and a new subject line. The
original subject was "[omni-consensus] Proposal to Immediately
Terminate Bay Area Public School Fiscal Sponsorship Contract and
Member Collective Status"
Hey Sudoers!
I represent a small tech group from The Shire Community Space in Modesto,
CA. We're looking at making a field-trip on 04/27/19 to check out some
makerspaces in the bay area to get some inspiration. Last month, I talked
with Jenny Ryan a bit about the visit and, so far, I've got 6-8 people
interested in coming.
Is it cool if we visit that day?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Jonathan Bryant
Hi everyone,
I have received messages from a neighbor saying that she is increasingly
concerned about the situation on the ballroom steps. It seems to have
deteriorated lately. She says there are often "lots of people" out there
and loud music is being played at various times of the day and night.
The people are drinking openly and intoxicated. Lee and Danny's health
problems have been getting worse so folks are frequently calling
ambulances to take them to the hospital when they have seizures. She
also believes someone (she did not accuse Lee or Danny) is dealing there
at night. I asked if she could describe the person who is dealing and
she couldn't. She has noticed cops patrolling more frequently and thinks
that other neighbors may be calling them or complaining that they they
feel unsafe.
I think we need to have another discussion about how to handle this.
There may be new people coming around. In the meantime, if you see
people playing music loud enough for neighbors to hear, please ask
whoever is playing it to turn it down. If you feel comfortable asking
people not to drink alcohol, please also do so. What I say is something
to the effect of, "we don't mind people hanging out on the steps, but if
there is drinking, loud music or yelling, trash, or illegal behavior,
neighbors are going to complain, call the cops, and that threatens
Omni's existence. If we go away, whoever owns the building next is
almost definitely NOT going to let folks sit here. So if it continues,
then we won't be able to let people sit here."
If anyone has any information about any dealing that might be happening,
please contact me directly. I will keep your identity confidential.
I have been encouraging Danny and Lee to get into a recovery program.
Their friend Andrew is also trying to convince them and is willing to
drive them to the program we have discussed.

can demonstrate that I've been writing it since last October, knowing I
would need to start generating my household's income this year and acutely
aware of how much time Omni's bookkeeping work has taken in the past. It
should be noted I'm essentially doing the bookkeeping for not one, but 6
collectives (Omni writ large, Sudo, LibLens, partial DIY [they have a
secondary fiscal sponsor as well], The Village [a significant amount of
work], and BAPS [tho they contributed $0 in 2019 and have no expenses]) and
tax season is now upon us.
I am unable to attend the Delegate's Meeting this Thursday as I'll be out
of town, but happy to answer any questions or concerns remotely.

Hey sudoers,
This just came across my radar and I don't think anyone's posted it to the
list, but the annual Musicians & DIY Electronics Swap Meet is this Sunday
at Omni starting at 10am:

We're supposed to have Sudoroom meetings every third Wednesday. I
forgot about it and didn't show up yesterday even though I'm supposed
to be the Omni delegate. Oops.
Did anybody show up? Did a meeting happen? Were any of the Omni
proposals discussed or should I abstain on them all?
Does anyone have a ^^^^ that they would like to donate to sudo?
I am keen to look at the innards of one of these things and see if it could
be used for some form of alternate imaging. Probably involves reverse
engineering the signaling chip but I am starting from zero here, so who
knows.
