...do you make art? Congratulations! You're an artist!
We humbly invite you to participate in our evening-long 'dystopian fantasy'

🌱Amongst the Vines🌱artists seek to fearlessly explore the darkness of our
modern dystopia: the natural and the synthetic, the bleak and the blinky,
the trash and the tech, the abandoned and the shiny-new; and perhaps, to
discover the gentle glow of humanity's unwaivering pulse amidst
collectively integrated hellscapes...

Hi Everyone,
There are still spots open for my acrylic manufacturing class at
Noisebridge this weekend. This 3 hour workshop will cover manufacturing
with acrylic sheets--the best alternative to 3d printing and injection
molded enclosures. If you are a startup and don't have the capital or the
volumes to justify expensive plastic molds, manufacturing out of sheet
acrylic might be the answer for you.
Myself (Ruth) and Rik are running a sheet acrylic manufacturing workshop.
We make the whole process accessible, from teaching joints/cutting/bending
to sharing local prototyping contacts and hosting a 30 minute Q&A with a
Chinese contract manufacturer. The workshop is from 9:30AM to 12:30PM on
May 5th at the Noisebridge Hackerspace, and costs $75:

Greetings Omninoms!
Thanks to DK, we have our annual fire inspection scheduled for this Tuesday
at 2:30pm with Inspector Garrett.
To prep:
* All rooms must be unlocked or unlockable, which means we'll need key
access to Liberated Lens, the CCL closets, and the TIL office - can copies
of those keys be made and put on the master keyring in secure storage?
* Ballroom must be cleared of tables and chairs, mezzanine of stray books
* Extension cables disconnected and pathways clear
* All hallways cleared of stuff and at least 3' clearance in front of any
electrical panels
* All storage areas cleaned up a bit and flammable materials put away (mesh
in sudo; phat beets, ABDC, Village, CCL in basement)
Also, I'll try to be there on Tuesday but lmk if you can help prep the
building Monday afternoon/evening or Tuesday AM.
