Hey Sudo Room,
I hear that Hardware Hack Night is this Tuesday, 7-9pm. I want to invite
anyone interested to come down to the basement and join us in hacking on
CCL's large liquid handling robot.[image: IMG_20170705_232100946.jpg]
There are lots of neat projects we could use help with, like:
- Wiring and programming Arduinos to run lab equipment
- Figuring out how OpenPCR <https://openpcr.org/>units are supposed to
work and how we can control them remotely
- Making stepper motors open and close a freezer door
- General thinking about cool things we could do with this robot
Conveniently, we're in the basement from 7-9pm every other Tuesday
(including this Tuesday, 10/23). Drop in!

Hey hackers,
This Saturday, Noisebridge is hosting special visitors from France who will
be telling us more about CryptPad <https://cryptpad.fr/>, which is an
end-to-end encrypted Google Docs alternative, and telling us about related
software called "XWiki <https://www.xwiki.org/>". The event begins at
noon, and there will be a presentation starting and pizza showing up at
1pm, followed by a hackathon going till 6pm.
15 people have already RSVP'd for this *rad*ness; for more info, or to
RSVP, check out the event page on our Meetup:
https://www.meetup.com/noisebridge/events/255318084/ .
See you there!

Hi Sudo & CCL members,
Open Insulin <http://openinsulin.org/> is in *dire* need of a website redesign. It’s been pretty basic, but we’re looking to do more with it: post regular science updates & blog entries, provide solid information on how to contribute, and include more resources for further research.
Anthony can do the coding, but it would super sweet if anyone ++ wants to step up to take creative direction on this. It is a great way to be a part of this project, even if you don’t have lab skills (at the moment). I would have loved to help take this on, but counterculturelabs.org <https://www.counterculturelabs.org/> also so badly needs an overhaul so I’ll be focusing my efforts there for now. If you are interested, ping me directly please and I’ll get you started!
Also, join us any Wednesday @6pm at CCL if you want to be looped into what we’ve been up to.
Love & robots,
Ramy

Dear Sudoroom,
We should figure out a way to work together. Our goals are somewhat
aligned. Below are some ~1Gbps capacity POPs near the red computer screens
in your graphic.

Trying to get through a project but the laser isn't behaving. Stalls during
a cut (with laser on of course) but manages tp start back up a dozen times
before just stopping and burning a hole in the piece. Tried 4 or 5 usb
cables with varying results but still couldn't get a complete cut
Dear Sudo Room,
Just a reminder that we have not received a payment for this invoice yet. Let us know if you have questions.
Thanks for your business!
