Just a friendly reminder to men of a certain. Age that SudoRoom is not a dating service
Do not join or interact with women hoping “something special” will happen ! Thanks
If you’re under 35, totally hot and in shape then it’s another matter - just kidding !

Hi everyone!
We didn't have very good attendance at the last meeting, and I can understand
why - meetings can be annoying, boring, or even unpleasantly dramatic. Nobody
wants that!
Things are better these days, and we have the potential for Sudoroom and Omni
to grow into even better things than they ever have before. But we need to
meet up and talk about things, and encourage each other to participate in
whatever ways we can. Just showing up to the meeting is really helping!
A lot of people came last night to Hardware Hacking Tuesday, and it was fun.
If we could get half that many people to show up to meetings, it would make a
huge difference in the energy of the space. Cleaning up, organizing, and even
making things or collaborating on things, or playing with the synthesizer, are
all options before and after the meeting, and to an extent even during the
meeting!
So if you have a chance, please show up at Sudoroom meetings, whether
in-person or virtually. This is how we build community and keep the project
going.

does anyone know how to set up VOIP phones? I have a bunch of them and i want
to set them up to call around.
We used to have an asterisk server at sudoroom, but that computer died or
something...and i have never been able to figure out how to configure asterisk
even though i've tried a couple of times.
presently i'm trying to do the most basic vanilla shit with https://onsip.com
I've set up a plain old Polycom model 321 phone according to instructions, but
it still doesn't do anything, and i can't get it to make or receive calls.
Anyone want to help? I have extra phones.

ok so I'm brainstorming this, but this would be relaly fun. Thinking of
running it across meetups at the SudoRoom, Noisebridge, and then also the
made museum digital co creator night!

It could be anything…
…But when we see a broken thing, we think,
Oh, with a little something here and a little something there,
we can fix the part that’s broken and make things whole again.
It’s difficult work but no matter what, you do whatever it takes because
It is one of the best things that humans do.”

Helloooo Omni,
Attached, you will find a new proposal outlining our plans for Sacred
Makers Arts Collective to expand our rental space into the basement.
In recent months, our team has dedicated significant effort to cleaning and
organizing the space, clearing away accumulated items to activate the area
effectively. Currently, we pay $800 per month for the sewing zone and
screen print zone. With our expansion plans, we aim to introduce a looming
zone and a jewelry-making zone, utilizing the proposed spots as indicated
in the attached layout. Additionally, we seek one lockable room to secure
valuable equipment such as computers, considering the current open layout
of the media lab.
The enclosed office space adjacent to the village love room aligns
perfectly with our requirements, offering the ideal setting for our
operations. In light of these developments, we propose an increased monthly
rental rate of $1200, effective from March.
We kindly request your feedback and any necessary support regarding this
proposal. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns or
require further clarification.
