Yeah we could also somehow roll this into 3D printing
as well like puppet shows and gigantic immersive environments and imaginary worlds.

I used Autodesk motion for my iPad Pro. I don't know any good open source app but i
have a copy of motionartist and moho from smith micro one of which exports in HTML 5
Even through I don't like HTML 5 and too many gross javascript libraries that would
be open source!!!
