i've been having a brainstorm over the last two days that has led me to the conclusion that the best way for us to fundraise to save the omni might be to host 215 only (no alcohol) lounge nights. we could charge $20-30 and have different themes each night, i.e. hip hop, reggae, jazz, etc. the oakland dispensaries are not allowed to has lounges like in sf. we don't currently have a liquor license the oakland dispensaries that get busted for having lounges only get simple possession charges...even for having 30 pounds. anyone with me? ~r
