I think six months ago or more, we talked about trying to figure out where
these emails are coming from and whether they're accurate. If they're
accurate, it would be nice to get a clarification of the situation and what we
need to do about it, otherwise if this is an automatic message that is sending
out confusing and incorrect numbers, we should figure out where it's coming
from and turn it off.
Does anyone control the email address "Omni Commons
<quickbooks(a)notification.intuit.com>"
it's coming from o4.e.notification.intuit.com [167.89.82.160]
also, we need to remove the email address rcsheets(a)acm.org from these automatic
messages, i'm pretty sure they don't want to receive these messages anymore or
hear anything about us.

They are automated monthly invoice reminders sent from Omni's Quickbooks
account, and yes the total amount due is accurate.
Finance awaits a) a formal proposal from sudo room to waive pandemic
back rent; b) payment on past due invoices; c) some combination of the two.

New subject: [omni-finance] automatic quickbook messages coming from where?
Hi there!
Thanks for reminding me/us of this issue -- the "Omni Commons <
quickbooks(a)notification.intuit.com>" messages are coming from inside the
house.
LOL uh no, they are automated emails from Omni's Quickbooks Online
accounting system. I am still learning/figuring out all the automation that
was put in place.
I removed the rcsheets@acm email from the invoice reminders. They are now
set to only go to sudo-discuss and Jenny's personal email. If y'all want
that changed, let me know and I can change it.

New subject: [omni-finance] automatic quickbook messages coming from where?
Whoops -- looks like Jenny replied at the same time as I did -- didn't
intend to talk over, etc.
Currently Sudo Room has:
$8284.05 -- balance in Unify account
$957.96 -- balance in PayPal
If y'all would like to apply some of those funds towards back rent, I think
Finance could transfer the funds (at least from the Unify account).
I want to echo what Jenny said about submitting a proposal to waive
whatever amount of back rent you want. I had tried several times to have
this be something that Finance WG could do on Sudo's behalf, but the
delegates insisted that a formal proposal come from Sudo or a Sudo delegate.
FYE submitted a similar proposal a month or so ago and got their back rent
waived, if you want to just C&P from that.
