what are ways people can hack personal safety? (wristbands, electronics)
sorry to hear about that naomi =(
my brother was jumped a few years ago while he was riding his bike through
brooklyn. They choked him and held a knife to his throat. Not fun at all!

New subject: state of the room / access
hi folks,
I tried to stop by sudo room about 30 minutes ago and didn't get a rise out of the
doorman - is it down along with tamale? will anybody with keys be around later? I need
to open the space to bring in some equipment for microcontroller night...was planning on
doing it at lunch today but now will be doing it after work and maybe having to start a
little later than 5:30 but people usually aren't there by then anyhow.
also, i am going to (try to?) show cyrus and his grandpa how to 3D print tonight. I know
there was a major rearrangement of the space yesterday - any word whether the printing
workstation is back together?

I started up the 3d printing workstation last night and the console wasn't
working, and not because the keyboard and mouse weren't plugged in, because
they were. I didn't dig beyond that but it may not be a fluke and there may
be minor troubleshooting to do.

Ugh, that's horrible.
I'd love to further this discussion sometime, but at the moment I am not
full of ideas. Still trying to wash pepper spray off my body. This stuff
is persistent.

(broadest definition of "hack" should apply to this question).
