Hi everyone, please try and show up close to on time! So we dont waste so
much time sitting around.
Would be great if we could get a volunteer for facilitator and agenda but I
am not able to make that today. Two obvious discussions are ED position and
how to move past recent conflicts.

No, I think we need a neutral facilitator or as close as we can find to
that.
As for how long the meeting will go on, the request is noted, but people
can't just object to us having a meeting. We can table discussions if
necessary, but the unprecedented discord that has come up recently can only
be dealt with by a well-attended meeting by the membership.
The obvious discussions are:
1. "the ED decision" of whether we will hand over executive power to Jamal,
and
2. who will be our delegate tomorrow at the Omni meeting.

Jake, I have facilitated meetings previously where people disagreed with me
with no cause for concern and all were heard equally. Everyone, including
you, thanked me for facilitating that meeting.
There is no factual reason as to why that would change for this meeting. If
you really want to make facilitation an issue within sudoroom and continue
to exhaust limited meeting time then I suggest you raise it at the meeting.

delegate in an attempt to force the issue, instead of bringing such a
decision to the collective.
You clearly have a specific goal in these issues, and I don't see how I
could trust you to facilitate topics that are so important to you, and if
you're going to be neutral then it shouldn't matter if someone else does it
instead. Less work for you.

My very specific goal is I do not support transphobic, racist, and
misogynistic actions. I participated in no attempted purge, and I have not
attacked our delegate. I have called out a person who was put into the
position under no vote because no one else volunteered after I stepped down
for their racist actions in our previous meetings and their misleading view
of a 5 hour meetings they participated in for less than an hour.
If you continue to try to discredit me or target me I will take this as
further actions in favor or your immediate removal of Omni. People
disagreeing with you is not a reason to try and remove others from
positions or silence them and I am sick of your petty attempts to try and
attack me.
Tonight will be facilitated as our meetings have in the past with no
problems. You have my word.

It's a shame that Jamal doesn't want to work with us, but I can't say I'm
surprised at this outcome.
Do we have a list of all the criticisms and demands we've been given by all
the people who consider Sudo Room a toxic and bigoted environment? Because
it seems like maybe those criticisms should be considered in our roadmap
for 2024.
Also, we should have a roadmap for 2024.
