[Big Changes] Access Crisis 2013

Hey all, Got word and confirmation from George today that he is dissatisfied with our current access system--meaning we may no longer leave the door on 22nd propped open whatsoever. We need to (a) resolve our membership identification problem and (b) unify and maintain our full access management solution and provide it to all members (c) set up a telephone inside sudo room (d) expand access solutions to the public school, possibly other tenants up to a fair exchange (e) keep the hallway on 22nd to the elevator absolutely clear of all items. Seriously, we are on thin ice and if we want to remain committed to public access and thriving events, we need to get our shit together. I personally cannot commit to resolving any of the above items--but I do offer help and feedback to folks who can commit. // Matt

Call for Hands! OMI workparty this weekend

Beta test Sudo Radio App

Hey all, I've put together a really simple desktop player that streams audio from sudoradio.com https://sudoroom.org/wiki/SudoPod The main feature of this app is that it has an integrated web server and API, so you can run it on your desktop/laptop speakers and be able to control it from any device with a browser on your network. So if you have a Mac or Win machine and want to try it out, let me know, at some point I'll probably do a iOS/Android version as well. Sudoers do Yoga: A special Yoga deal I cut with Earth Tribe Yoga

Greetings and Namaste, I'm a horribly stiff man that war born without the ability to bend past a 20 degree angle. But lately I've been going a few days a week to http://www.earthtribeyoga.com/ on Franklin and 20th (2 blocks from sudo). Now its 25 degrees. Earth Gribe is a cool space, they are essentially sudoers of the yoga world - their classes and space are completely free, and run on member donations. So if we wanted to we could just go to their classes together. Last Sunday, I was the only person at the 5pm class, and got a private lesson. I remembered how intimidating it is to go to Yoga when you don't feel stretchy. So I asked the peeps if they would do *a private lesson for sudoers*. They said yes if we got *5 people at $5/person*. We could do it at their location or at sudo. and the time can be negotiated. Tor now I'm going to propose Sunday at 6, but I'm so flexible. So does anyone want to go with me to regular classes, or start a private group? notcofusingly, Max
