Sorry for duplicate email. cell phone fail. I say we give our community a
few more hours to deliver free, liberated or DIY boxes. Then if we aren't
satisfied by around 6pm i will personally drive to home despot and front
the cost.
Since Landlord is throwing a "rave" tonight, packing in earnest starts
tomorrow, and we need boxes, etc.
First, please help pack tomorrow or sunday. Being packed is vital for an
easy, smooth move.
Second, we need packing supplies. Were I Czar, (besides wanting to hang
myself for parasiting on the people) I'd get the following ~$100 of
supplies from Home Depot today or tonight:
100 small (16x12x12) boxes
10 medium(17x18x16) boxes
2 6-packs of packing tape
black magic markers
I'm assuming sudo has a few box knives or scissors, and that we can get
newspaper for fill easily enough..
Also, i have pallet wrap, if needed, on a reimbursement basis.
Also, for those who would rather reuse, etc.: BRING US YOUR BOXES,
please! (Excuse the hollering.)
Third, we should buy boxes because:
Unused extra Home Depot boxes can be returned. Maybe folks will bring
many good boxes, but back-up is nice, and we could promise not to be
wasteful.
That said, I'm not Czar. How does one get that purchase okayed? How does
one get reimbursed cash (as I'm rather illiquid at the moment)?

It seems that DNS inside the sudo network is not working. However manually
setting your DNS to something like 8.8.8.8 fixes this issue.
I'm not sure where this problem is stemming from, hopefully somebody else
can troublshoot better than I.

Tux! Will look into it later today.

Hi Sudoers,
Is there any place to post free stuff for sudo people?
I have a X200 Thinkpad laptop base I'd be happy to pass along to anybody
with a compatible laptop -- I think the X61 Thinkpad series is what it's
for. DVD/CDRW drive included.
But in general, if I have techy stuff to give away -- is there a place I
can post it where people will see? I looked on the wiki, but couldn't find
anything like that...shall I start a page? Would people use it?

Hey all,
At last might's meeting we discussed the prospect of starting a Reboot Fund
to raise money to cover the costs of the move.
https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Reboot/Fund
I started a spreadsheet to come up with the realistic costs and ultimately
a number to fund-raise:
https://ethercalc.org/sudoreboot
Please add to it and discuss.

Just a reminder the landlord is hosting another rave in the common
area tomorrow night (June 20). We should probably clean up the common
area beforehand. I will try and be there tomorrow morning to help with
that.
Hey all,
We discussed some details for a move-out, this is a schedule that seems to
make sense:
==Move Out==
Schedule:

* 6/25 : Big Truck Moving Day (1337 cr3w, sign up w/ Steve nsw(a)sonic.net)

* 6/27 - 6/29 : Clean-up, polish! (Fri - Sun)
