Hi Peter,
Very nice meeting you in person this evening.
Many thanks to FixIt Clinic for donating 20 ExChromebooks to Urban
Angels SF. We’re very grateful for your support.
The ExChromebooks will be provided to underserved students participating
in Urban Angels SF’s tutoring and educational programs. Many of these
students have limited access to reliable technology at home, so having
their own ExChromebook gives them an important tool for tutoring,
schoolwork, online learning, research, and building digital skills.
We especially appreciate that these computers, originally from Oakland
Unified School District, are being given a second life rather than
becoming e-waste. It’s a wonderful example of reuse directly benefiting
students and the community.
We hope to continue working with you to place additional refurbished
ExChromebooks into the hands of underprivileged students who need them
for tutoring to catch up to their grade level. We’ll be happy to share
updates on how the computers are being used and the impact they are making.
We’d also like to add a note on her webpage to acknowledge and thank you
publicly for your generosity, if you are ok with the recognition.
Thank you again for helping us expand access to technology and
educational opportunity.
Warmly,
Catherine

Hi Sudoers:
See below: Mr. Onyeador could use help tomorrow afternoon and/or anytime
Friday (August 6 and 7) getting ready for the first day of classes this
Monday. Can you help? Text him to arrange to come by (510) 604-5522.
(Once again: for those who are coming for the first time: park on 42nd
St. or 45th St. go in through the main door in the center of the school
on Broadway, check in with security immediately inside the main door
(you may have to get a badge/pass), but if unmanned proceed to the left
and keep working your way south, past the main office, past the track
and field outside the big windows on the right until you reach a
somewhat hidden, recessed, curving staircase headed downstairs on the
left-hand side: take that down to the lower level, Room #4 is a yellow
door on the right-hand side.)
Emmanuel Onyeador Cell: (510) 604-5522

Thanks, Hana.
I will be available, but everywhere given what's happening today-
the first day of school for teachers. If anyone is coming on Thursday,
the afternoon will be preferable. Friday will work. Just call or text me
if you are here on campus. I will keep room 4 unlocked. I need to begin
sorting Chromebooks for the various classrooms. I would appreciate the
support.
Thanks,

Hi Peter:
I am back at school today in meetings all morning. Tomorrow, the
teachers come back. I will be working to fill the Chromebooks
for teachers. The course is not set up appropriately, and so we
are working to set it up.
Tomorrow and Thursday, we have a welcome PD for staff all day.
Friday, I will be trying to field staff requests (Chromebooks,
etc., and it will be crazy. Room 4 will need some work to make
it a classroom and workshop. I have some tables to replace what
is there.
Let me know what you think and if anyone is available.
Thanks for your usual support.

Sudo friends -
I'd still like to spend time introducing FPGA technology to the room.
I'm available one or more of this Tue, Wed, Thu.
michaelz and David, you still each have the pico2-ice that I gave you,
right? Can you bring them in one of these days?
I'll probably come in Wed, since I still have a ton of questions
about LoRa, MechCore, and/or Reticulum.
