Hello everyone,
If you are bored and have nothing better to do, would tell me if the device (door/gate sensor) at the URL below has a way to have its BLE signal be emitted out via an antenna?
https://fccid.io/UDX-60084030/Internal-Photos/Internal-Photos-4879760
A few days ago I asked AI and said something a long the line that it was a delicated thing to do because of the heat could damage other components.
Anyways, feel free to email me directly if you want to share any info or have questions.
Thanks!
Hi sudoers:
This fall we’re launching a Tech Repair and Chromebook Conversion
Training Program at Oakland Tech High School at 4351 Broadway (close to
sudoroom/Revival Hall). We’re working with:
Emmanuel Onyeador
TSA, Technology
Director, Computer Science Academy
Site Data Tech Lead, Oakland Tech
Site Coordinator, APEX Learning
(See this .pdf for Oakland Tech’s Computer Academy course sequence:
https://resources.finalsite.net/images/v1724018603/ousdorg/a0fn0hjjjlhvayor…)
Mr. Onyeador needs help over July and early August setting up for the
new program before the start of the fall semester August 10: cleaning up
spaces, sorting and organizing lots of tech and educational materials,
setting up workstations for student repair.
(see photos 2 and 3 here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/TwLAjCxxHCPfTnoK9)
Interested? We’ll try to schedule some “work parties” in July/August but
it might be possible to just schedule with Mr. Onyeador to stop by
Oakland Tech when you’re available.
Sign up at https://forms.gle/YSioMetZCnS2ooGDA, select “2026-07
USA-CA-Oakland Oakland Tech Repair and Chromebook Conversion Training
Program”, put your availability in the “Anything special about your
participation?” field and I’ll get back in touch with you.
Hope to see you there, -Peter

Hello my name is Carlan Samuels, and I am an intern with *The Hidden Genius
Project*. I am reaching out because we are looking for 8 volunteers to support
us at *LakeFest *this upcoming Saturday 6/27 at *Lake Merritt in Oakland,
California*.
Volunteers will be asked to help for *at least 2 hours*, and in return,
they will receive a free ticket to enjoy the event for the rest of the day.
The Hidden Genius Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training
and mentoring Black male youth in *technology creation, entrepreneurship,
and leadership skills* so they can transform their lives and communities.
Our mission is to help young people discover and develop their talents
while preparing them for future opportunities in technology and beyond.
At LakeFest, we will be hosting *Genius City*, an interactive experience
designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. Genius City features hands-on
activities and exhibits focused on *gaming, artificial intelligence,
robotics, music technology, creative arts, sports analytics, film, and more*.
The goal is to give attendees of all ages an opportunity to explore
emerging technologies, build real-world skills, and discover what is
possible when innovation and community come together.
We would greatly appreciate your support. If you are interested in
volunteering or know someone who may be and would like more information,
please reply to this email. Feel free to share this opportunity with others
who may be interested as well.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope to see you at LakeFest!

Hi sudoerss:
The not-quite-yet-open East Bay Makers Club
(https://eastbaymakersclub.com/) is having an Open House / Build Night
this Friday June 19 and all sudoers are invited to attend: check out the
amenities, socialize, and meet founders John Boiles and Joe Taylor, and
the Operations Manager Ted Tagami.
Their Grand Opening is Friday July 3, and we’ll be holding a Fixit
Clinic as part of the festivities from 8PM-10PM (Sign up here:
http://bit.ly/inpersoncoachsignup)
Joe, John and Ted are scrambling to get everything ready to open July 3
and could use help: if you’ve got any availability in the next two weeks
attend Friday’s Open House / Build Night and introduce yourself to them.
Or stop by 1619 San Pablo Av. any mid-to-late afternoon in the next
couple of weeks.
Hope to see you there, -Peter
