you may have noticed a slightly rusty metal door laying around in the
stuff from the move, not attached to the building. It's a metal mesh
"security door" i donated for possible dooring of the upstairs apartment.
if it hasn't gone out the door to the street and been taken away, can
someone please put it somewhere inside? I am going to tune it up, weld
the loose parts, and propose installing it on the secondary outside door
of the omni so that we can get ventilation without having a door "open"
thank you

Sudoers,
Our first weekly meeting in the new space is _tonight_, 7pm at 4799
Shattuck!
Come see the new space and let's begin to envision what it is to become.
This is an exciting time!
If you can't make it tonight, no worries! We are having a potluck with our
fellow collective member-groups as well as some of the neighbors starting
at 7pm _tomorrow_. Bring a dish or some beverages to share!
Cheers,
Jenny

Unless there is some objection or a better one can be obtained, I would
like to donate my projector to Sudo Room. It's old, and only does 800x600
resolution, but I used it for years with no real issues. I can bring it by
this week.
Again if you guys get something better then i'll keep mine or maybe
liberate it for the omni commons, but if not, it's yours.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Matt-
Here is an almost-final accounting for The Sudo Room....
We were charged $100 to repair the rear stairway door lock damaged during
your move-out. We are also waiting for the remaining missing Front Door
Key. We believe that the only tenant (of ours outside of Sudo Room) that
you might have given it to would have been Eddan or Jenny (I certainly hope
you never gave one to Timon, because he has had one of his own as a tenant).
There are also 2 unaccounted front door keys from the Bay Area Public
School. If we can't account for those remaining keys we are going to have
to rekey the master for certain (even if Timon returns the key to us, as he
is supposed to next Monday), and then share the cost with all involved.
That will not be a cheap item--total cost to rekey and print all of the
needed $15 keys would be approaching $2k! So please try to get that second
key back to us and it will absolve at least the Sudo Room of responsibility
in that matter.
You have a $3000 security deposit, so if the key is returned we will cut you
a check for $3000 - $1930.48 = $1069.52.
Thanks, and let us know what you find out.
Laurie

They graciously acknowledged that we had done an excellent job
cleaning and will probably get our full deposit back. Other than the
front door which they're claiming now "broke during our move-out" but
I think we can push back on that accusation.

It did not reappear so we do need a projector for the new space. Thanks!
Impressive Job Yar, Matt, Max, Jenn and last but defiantly not least
David and of cause all the other contributors I forgot to mention.
I wrote a little follow up on the sidewalk discussions

Maybe it lightens up the mood ab it amides all this serious walk through
stuff.
Good Luck on the Last Meters eh Yards and foots and inches.
