A person from The Public School wanted to do a screening of Vanishing of
the Bees http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1521877/ on the Tuesday the 23rd of
this month in the common space. I wanted to check if that is okay. I tried
to put it on the calendar but it appears broken (plug-in needs updating FYI)
I also wanted to share that we are doing a game/event on Saturday May 4th
called Terra Incognita where you explore the city and make a game of it. We
are still working out details but the original info is here:
http://demilit.tumblr.com/terraincognita and the event is here:
http://thepublicschool.org/node/34285
Also wanted to float the idea of a "meeting of the minds/party" between the
groups that share the suite. A chance to learn more about the various
projects happening at sudoroom/the public school/ and others, network and
interface. Like Hacker Happy hour but with a little more structured
discussion. Just a thought
Oh and the suggestion for a class on the history of telecom systems would
be awesome.
Best,
Marty

Hello Sudoers,
Here's a shout out to my esteemed comrades. I'm wondering if there is anyone with a car that could help me shop for ingredients today (tuesday) or tomorrow (wednesday)? Not sure how I might get food for 45 back to my house via bus. :) yeah i'm talking about YOU 25 lb. bag of rice!

Would it be polite to infuse a dharma initiative theme to chez hacker weekend?
Anyone up for showing up in jumpsuits and bringing surf rock records and handbooks from the institute of the future?

Hi, I downloaded a super simple CRM and installed it on the SudoRoom
Wordpress.
I'm putting down email addresses that are on our sign-up poster.
I'm adding people who randomly wander in.
I'malso adding details -- one cool guy that came said that he knows one of
the original inventors from way back of 3D PRinting and he can get that guy
to come in and talk to us and hang out! wow!
They asked me to send them a link to the wiki for SudoRoom--many are
curious about what else is there to offer. I'm going to email them some
quick link, make it short and sweet.
- should embed if possible the wepay donation button into the welcome page!
people are short ontime, but very nice and generous!!! <3
Hey folks,
we now have a sudoroom github organization
Talk to matt senate to be added as a member.
https://github.com/sudoroom
I am going to start adding my newbie arduino project code!
Maybe we can be really really thoughtful about what messages we send to the
discuss list and remember that there are quite a few of us on here that
want to keep up with the on-going discussions of sudo room (that's what
it's all about--creating a creative communities and hackerspace).
Further, we are making a public record with our archives being freely
accessible.
Lastly, it has been my experience that even noisy email lists tend to
benefit when we pause, spend some time remembering what we got on the list
for, and make sure we send emails at a necessary frequency, not an
arbitrary one!
